Safe Custody
We are Authorised and Regulated under the rules of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to hold investments in safe custody.
Before deciding which of our safe custody services is appropriate for you, it is important to understand how quickly transactions are settled in today’s financial markets. Some examples of the normal timescales for different types of investments are as follows:

U.K. Government Securities (Gilts) trade day + 1 (T+1)

U.K. Listed Equities trade day + 3 (T+3)

Eurobonds trade day + 3 (T+3)
Crest is the settlement system through which the majority of the investments we deal on your behalf are settled. Many Eurosterling Bonds, which were once the preserve of the institutions for direct investment, are now easily settled through Crest.
We were one of the first companies to use Crest for Eurosterling Bond settlement. Whichever service you choose, we will provide an annual statement of the investments retained on your behalf.
