Co founded the firm in 1976. Senior partner until incorporation in 1989 when became chairman and chief executive. Career in stockbroking commenced in 1959 becoming a member of the Stock Exchange in 1964. Chairman of the Liverpool Stock Exchange prior to its merger with the London Stock Exchange. Also chaired the Liverpool Stock Exchange Benevolent Fund.
Responsibilities cover investment services including discretionary management together with a number of trusteeships.

Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972 spent thirteen years as an audit manager with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now PwC). Joined Blankstone Sington in 1985 as company accountant and in 1987 became a Member of the Stock Exchange. In 1989 took the dual role of finance and compliance director. Appointed chief executive in 2003 responsibilities include finance, compliance, personnel and administration.

His career in stock broking started in 1970, when he undertook his training with a London based firm of stockbrokers. He then had a short spell in the Building Society movement and joined Blankstone Sington in 1977, becoming a member of the Stock Exchange in 1979.

As joint MD of the Investment Department his responsibilities include Discretionary and Advisory Management with particular emphasis on Discretionary Investment for private clients and Charities.

Career in stockbroking commenced 1965. Joined BS Ltd 1977 becoming a partner in 1983.
Currently joint MD of Investment Department. Responsibilities include Discretionary and Advisory fund management. Other activities include a number of trusteeships of which some are charities.

Started with the Company in June 1987, as a trainee in the Dealing Room, Neil initially became an Investment Advisor before gaining authorisation for Investment Management.

A Member of the Securities Institute, Neil joined the Board in 1999. Reporting to the Joint M.D’s his responsibilities extend to the provision of the Investment and Additional Services, Dealing, P.R. and Marketing (including aiding with the development of this website). 

Peter joined the company in 1986 and became a Member of the Stock Exchange and Fellow of the Securities Institute in 1992.

Peter joined the Board in 1997. Having initially worked in the Investment Department, his principal responsibilities currently relate to the maintenance and development of the firms computer systems.

After graduating, Simon worked at another Liverpool stockbroker, moving here in 1991, and became a director in 1998.

Responsibilities include servicing a wide range of agents, advisory and discretionary clients, pension advice and managing SIPP Funds. With a wide knowledge of managed funds, he chairs our collective investments committee. Recently retired as President of the Liverpool branch of the Securities Institute after 5 years in office.
